lipstick jungle

I am loving the tv show Lipstick Jungle right now. It's based on the book by Candace Bushnell, who brought us the amazing Sex and the City so that was enough to make me watch it! Not as good as SATC but still brilliant. Full of lovely clothes and shoes!!
I love the character Victory Ford who is a fashion designer played by Lindsay Price. She is so beautiful and her clothes are gorgeoussssss.

cats and cottages

Every couple of minutes I hear my cats bell ringing as she runs into the room, rolls over next to my feet and waits for me to tickle her belly until she gets bored and leaves, only to come back a few minutes later. I have to say I love the adorable, attention seeking beauty.
I must must must do some college work today. I vow to start it after this post!
Also, I got my halloween costume today! I am a pumpkin and a very excited one at that.
I watched The Holiday this morning and I am in love with Iris' cottage, it's so beautiful!

lazy days and winter nights

I have to say I am in love with the college holidays. Today I had another lazy day watching films under my fairy lights, and no I'm not a very early Christmas decorator I have them up all year because they add a cosy feel to my room which I like. I also actually did some college work, out of boredom and fear that on Sunday night I would end up with a pile of work to stress over. Quite excited for Halloween now, I know what outfit I'm getting now it should be fun :)
What is everyone dressing up as? Got any fun plans?
I'm sat cuddling my hot water bottle as it is so, so freezing! I quite like winter nights though, getting all comfy and warm in my pjyamas, dressing gown and slippers watching good television or films with a hot chocolate is heavenly.. :)

Today was very very very boring. I do love the fact that the clocks went back, though. An extra hour in bed :D I spent most day browsing through blogs and looking at things on etsy. I suppose I should have used the time valueably and finished some college work but, well, I didn't...
I also watched some of the old episodes of Sex and the City. Ever since I bought the boxset from zavvi I have watched each episode again and again. Quite a deal really, every single episode for £50! Now they are doing the same for every single Friends episode so I'm quite tempted to buy those too..
Any Sex and the City fans? What do you think about the film compared to the tv series? I think I prefer the series..

I've been thinking lately about what I want to do in the future, and I have come to realise I actually have no clue. All of things I think of are quite unrealistic! What is your dream jobs? Or if you have a job, what is it?

This weekend has been a working weekend. I spent the majority of it doing college work and I still haven't finished! sigh.
The rest of it I have been looking round blogs. There are some really amazing ones I have stumbled across and it gets so addictive reading blogs!
Oh and I also started writing a story. I write them all the time but I always end up hating them half way through and starting again but this time I am going to try to finish it. I have it planned out, normally I just write and see where it goes, so hopefully having a plan will make it easier to finish!
I also bought two necklaces from HERE you should check it out, everything is beautiful and I couldn't resist buying! I'll post photos of the necklaces when I get them :)
I listened to Mayday Parade for the first time on Friday, and I have been listening to them on repeat now all weekend. They are amazing, if you haven't heard them and wanna check them out here's their MYSPACE and LAST.FM.

m+s does sex and the city

Marks and Spencers have a collection based on SEX AND THE CITY. Patricia Field, the famed stylist from the show/film (and also known for work on the film The Devil Wears Prada and tv series Ugly Betty) is the designer of the collection along with partner David Dalrymple.

I have to say, I am loving the scarf!
